British Wildlife Filmmaker Richard Hilton Szkiler is based in Argentina.
Richard is wildlife Director of Photography , he has been filming wildlife for several channels and productions with a big emphasis in South America. Since settling in the region in 2011, he has become very proficient at filming wildlife and has gained a deep knowledge in key areas of natural history interest.
He has experience working on multiple projects, including three landmark series by the BBC Natural History Unit. With vast hands on expertise with long lensing, drones, underwater ROV filming, time-lapsing and camera filming in challenging conditions and environments as well as experience working with a variety of different wild animals. Furthermore Richard has an excellent relationship with the local National Parks and various conservation groups in the Southern Cone. Along with his own film and expedition equipment.
Richard frequently films with the BBC’s Natural History Unit. His landscape photography has also has featured in Lonely Planet and Conde Nast Traveller.
